MT Fencing were great from start to finish. Matt responded quickly to my initial enquiry, attending site and supplying a detailed, competitive quote. Once we accepted the quote, we agreed an installation date, which only slipped by one day. The lads who attended site to undertake the works were friendly and hard working. The works were completed to a high standard and we were very happy with the two new gates. The site was left clean and tidy, with all rubbish removed. Very poorly built garden steps. Would not recommend this company.
The quality of work is so bad that we sought advice from another professional builder. The steps need completely rebuilding, which we're paying another company to do and seeking a refund from MT Fencing. The bricks are misaligned, the mortar on the steps too sandy and already cracking and some steps are wobbly. The concrete base extends far beyond the bottom step due to inaccurate measuring. We had to stop them mid-job as they were building a 9 1/2 inch rise insteadl of 6 inch. Behaved unprofessionally, leaving mess behind, wrecking our grass, and their truck even leaked oil onto our driveway.Verified reviewerJob location: SP410 Fencing Repair / Replacement
