  Gates fault finding, repair and servicing

  I initially contacted a large Gates company to do some fault finding on our electric gates. They misdiagnosed the issue and charged me a fortune. Fortunately, I found Neil on Checkatrade and had a fantastic experience. He was very reactive, extremely knowledgeable and competent, and priced more competitively than larger companies. NG Gates servicing is much more thorough than most companies, as he took the motor out of the pit, changed some bolts, etc. and spent considerable more time than our previous supplier. Our gates were back in service in record time. I Highly recommend NB Gates!

  Neil fitted my electric gates, CCtV and alarm. We have used him for 15 years.

  Neil is friendly, efficient and reliable. Would highly recommend him for all security for home. He fitted our electric gates 15 years ago, alarm and CCTV 7 years ago and regularly maintains them. Lovely guy. Very personable and extremely reliable/

  Replace automated gate motors and upgrade sensors

  Neil was great to deal with throughout the whole process. He responded quickly and came to look at the job straight away. His advice was logical and at no stage felt like he was taking advantage. He arrived and carried out the work on time and efficiently. He kept and left the site very clean and the completed work is working properly and all residents using the gates are happy with the work. Neil was excellent to deal with and we will establish a long term service arrangement with him for any future work or maintenance

  Replace existing 2-gate keypad, with camera-enabled system to view visitor from inside house

  Super nice guy, but truth is: left me worse off than I was before: 1) can't open pedestrian side gate from outside at all (8 digit code stopped working*) 2) can't open main gates from outside via keypad (new k/p only enables 1 gate, previous opened both) 3) can only open main gates via remote 4) internal systems connect to WiFi but no app 5) *no User Manual(s), no branding. I really liked Neil: he's trustworthy and meticulous about aesthetics, but it doesn't work! After 8 weeks back and forth still not working, I gave up. I 'got by' for a year but now back on here to start all over again.
