Terrible job of painting and decorating
I had a terrible experience with Nemo company. They painted the walls of my new home in April 2026 and did a truly awful job. They painted over damp in the bedroom wall, not treating it properly, and I have found smudges, streaks and blotches all over the other walls. Twice they came back to try and rectify but the quality of the painting remains abysmal. I have numerous photographs of how bad the work was. They have ignored my subsequent complaints and I am now taking legal action.Verified reviewerJob location: EN2Response from Nemo Group UK Limited
Hi Andy, we’re sorry you remain unhappy. We attended your property two times to address your concerns. The damp issue was caused by a leak in the bathroom floor. We explained that the leak needed repairing and the bathroom floor needed redoing, and provided a quotation. You chose a handyman whose price was lower than ours. We have retained records of these conversations, including our advice and quotation. Resolving the underlying leak was necessary to prevent the damp from returning.
