Beware who you allow into your property. Dan went absolute crazy when he was asked to accept payment through the bank because we did not have the cash to pay him at the end of the day. I was on a business call and my wife asked him if we could pay when he came back to complete the other jobs but he said no so we asked him for bank details so we could send via online banking and he flipped out talking about paying additional tax and refusing to leave the property eventually when he left he found it necessary to call us 14 times in the same hour even though I begged him to stop.

What a great local company! I can’t praise them enough. Dan is a real craftsmen, his skill and attention detail is unbounded. We are in the middle of a refurbishment and Dan has fitted a new bannister, two doors, a fitted home office worktop desk, and a stud wall. It all looks fantastic and I would fully recommend Nixon Carpentry for their outstanding work. My only regret is that I’m not quite ready for them to get started on the other projects yet as they are such a joy to work with. Thank you.

Dan helped us choose the right doors and handles for the job. There was a delay to the delivery of the doors but Dan kept us in the loop and was able to install them soon afterwards. Dan works hard and to a very hight standard, we are very happy with the work and would look to him for future jobs.

I had an emergency situation with an old and rotten kitchen cupboard and fridge that needed removing. Dan came to the rescue and removed it all in about an hour. He also made good some of the upper trimming , leaving an expert looking fitted kitchen. Dan will be back to complete some kitchen work after the tiling is complete. I highly recommend.

Dan built some storage and shelving units in our new extension as well as making a fitted double fronted bookcase room divider and enlarging the cupboard under the stairs as add ons. We were really pleased with the finished job and Dan throughout the build was checking we were happy with how it was progressing, offering advice and ideas that really enhanced on the original plans and sketches, from soft closing hinges to changing one of the cupboards to drawers. At all times any additional costs were discussed before any additional work was carried out and the final price was very competitive
