  Dormer / Roof Windows

  Posted 01 October

  3 Metre extension from kitchen

I had used North East Contractors before but this job was a bit more complicated as the previous builder had not built it to the correct specification. I contacted Jonny who really helped me through this difficult situation as the extension had to be re-built. He and his team (Mick especially) were great and just got on with it but I was kept updated every step of the way. I would and will use North East Contractors in the future. I do believe that it is very hard to find a builder nowadays that is honest and will guide you.

Exceptional From Start to Finish – Our Edwardian Home Renovation

We used North East Contractors for a complete renovation of our Edwardian home, and the entire experience was exceptional. The scale of the work was substantial, including a large rear extension, loft dormer, rebuilding external walls and an outbuilding, four bathrooms and en-suites, relocating internal walls, and completely stripping and replastering the house. Despite the size and complexity of the project, everything ran smoothly and to schedule. The whole team were fantastic to deal with, professional, courteous, respectful of our home and always willing to go the extra mile. Nothing wa

  Roof Replacement

Professional, considerate and an excellent job

I honestly couldn’t fault Noth East Contractors from start to finish. They turned up when they said they would, completed the work within the agreed timescales and were incredibly professional and considerate throughout. Despite the scale of the job, we rarely saw the roofers as they were always up on the roof getting on with the work! They took real care to make sure no dirt was traipsed through the house, and once the work was complete, they carried out a really thorough clean externally too.

  Installation Of New Roof

We recently appointed North East Contractors to install a new roof on our development, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Their team showed professionalism, strong organisation, and great attention to detail throughout. The workmanship is impressive, with a high-quality finish that gives us full confidence in its durability. Work was completed efficiently with minimal disruption, and the site was kept clean and safe. Communication was clear, timelines were met, and any queries were handled promptly. We are very pleased with the result and would highly recommend them.

  Rubber Roofing Installation

  Posted 27 February

Quality workmanship from a caring and friendly team

We contacted NE Construction to help us identify and resolve water ingress. A new rubber flat roof was installed and incorrectly installed flashing remedied. Jonnie was very supportive and clearly explained the problem and pulled out all the stops to fit the work into his busy schedule in a rare dry spell. A temporary fix was made to stem the water coming into the house and then a big team was pulled together so the new roofing could be installed before more predicted rainfall. Everything was kept clean and tidy throughout the work.

  Pitched Roofing Repair

  Excellent job

We had our roof extension and Velux windows replaced. NE Contractors were very professional from start (giving a very detailed quote for the work) to finish (tidying up and getting scaffolding removed). The two roofers who did the job (Gary and Anthony) were fantastic. They worked really hard and got the work completed in the anticipated timescale (5 days). They discussed any issues that arose during the work where a decision had to be made and tided up bits of the roof that needed doing from previous work . I would definitely recommend them.
