    A skilled, reliable carpenter!

    Luke has done a number of jobs for us now, and he has been absolutely fantastic yet again. Most recently, he built a custom media unit for us, and we couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship is to an extremely high standard, and the attention to detail is brilliant. Not only is his work top-quality, but he is also incredibly tidy, respectful of the space, and a pleasure to have around. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable carpenter!

    Luke has done several jobs for us; the most recent being bespoke understairs storage. He is a lovely guy who is a pleasure to work with and delivers consistenly high quality work at a fair price. He is very reliable and communicates well. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

    Exceeded our expectations

    We recently had bespoke cabinets and shelving built in our living room by Luke and honestly could not be happier! Luke is professional, reliable and took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and delivered something that exceeded our expectations.     Alcove Shelves

    We’re very happy with the floating alcove shelves — the quality of the work was excellent and they look exactly as we hoped. Luke was reliable, respectful, and left the area clean and tidy. Communication by email could sometimes take a little while, but in the end the service and finished work were great. Would happily recommend.

    Bespoke under stairs storage

    After successfully completing the kitchen cabinets we ordered we were impressed and also hired Luke to create bespoke under stairs storage for shoes to make the best use of space. Again, very happy with the guidance given, pricing, and the project was completed on time and to budget.

My name is Luke Hodgins. After enjoying almost 15 years in the industry I decided to set up North Point Carpentry & joinery and have been trading since January 2018.


North Point Carpentry & Joinery specialises in the design, build and installation of bespoke fitted furniture. This includes bedroom suites, alcove cabinets, shelving, kitchens and under stair storage. We also over a decoration service with all our Joinery and can offer colour match options from companies such as Farrow and Ball and Little Greene.


With more complex projects such as kitchens, we also have plumbers, electricians and general builders in our team which means we can offer a full service with just one point of contact for the customer.


We strive to deliver a professional and friendly service that delivers a quality job on every occasion.
