  A beautiful job done

  So delighted to find Bob still in business. He upholstered an antique settee for us a few years ago. Did a beautiful job so was the obvious choice for upholstering an antique arm chair. Again a beautiful job done Have to say also that he is a very friendly charming chap. Totally reliable and extremely helpful Clearly recommending him to anyone looking for first class upholstery

  After a bit of a mixup at the start , Bob really delivered with an absolutely astonishing job. Incredible workmanship. We would definitely recommend.

  I would definitely recommend Oaklands Upholstery, very helpful, knowledgeable and honest. Large amount of fabrics to choose from and the quality of work is to the highest standard. Very quick turn around and competitive on price too. We are very pleased with the end result and my stool looks like brand new!!

  2 conservatory chairs re-upholstered.

  I was offered a great selection of material to replace worn out covers on cane chairs, and was very happy with the price quoted, especially compared to replacing the chairs. The timescale I was given for the work was adhered to, and the owner is a nice friendly chap to engage with. All in all, I will definitely go back for any future work I require of this nature

  Vintage chair repair ignored!

  A week ago, I contacted this company in order to repair a beloved chair. I just received an answer asking me about where's the job to be done. I explained, one more time that it was only a chair, offering even to carry on to their premises. There's no answer to that conversation. I feel myself ignored and leaves to me a bad reputation about those guys. Not recommend at all.

  Hi, I’ve been with checktrade for 15 years now and I’ve been in the Upholstery business since I was 16 and I’m now 58. My workmanship speaks for itself. I tried to contact them on the mobile number provided three times but they didn’t answer. I’m sorry .

  Reupholster fireside armchair chair

  The upholstery was done very well and Bob's suggestions for bulking up the padding improved on what we'd asked for and they showed his experience and made for a much better result. An update or two during the weeks working on the chair would have taken this to 10/10. Bob collected and returned the chair and this was helpful as well.
