  We had several companies come out to quote, but Oakwood Builders stood out because they took the time to explain the different options rather than simply trying to sell us the most expensive one. The work was completed exactly when they said it would be and to an excellent standard. The attention to detail around the edges, drainage and finishing touches really impressed us. The driveway has received plenty of compliments from neighbours since it was completed.

  Absolutely delighted with our new driveway. David and Craig did a brilliant job from start to finish. They turned up when they said they would, worked hard every day and left everything clean afterwards. The finish is spot on and we’ve already recommended them to friends.

  Removing existing door and bricking up opening

  Can't recommend their services enough. The guys were great. Simon was great with communication and keeping me updated on things. Came out to view the job and issued quote back within a few hours. All agreed and had the job done within a few days. Even managed to come out earlier than planned but checked suitably before doing anything. David and Craig did excellent work and Simon came back out afterwards to review and make sure everything was ok and we were happy. Even gave some advice on some potential future jobs im looking to do. Fantastic service all round.

  knock down internal wall and rebuild in a different place to increase size of child's bedroom

  Simon's communication with us was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. Martin the builder did a sterling job, left everything neat and tidy and also offered extra advice on other alterations we were contemplating and have now booked him again for those. Oakwood are the only place you need to go for all your building jobs, I would not consider anyone else now!

  Highly reccomended

  We had oakward builders, to build us a conservatory with a warm a roof. We also chose have electrics and a radiator fitted. From the start they worked with our budget and gave us a plan of what the finished conservatory would look like. Every step of the way we were communicated thoroughly of timelines and he was coming round to do which part of the build, etc. Everyone who came round to do their part builders, plaster, glassroof fitters and plumbers, all did a thorough job and they were very friendly, polite and left everywhere, tidy as possible.   Very professional, approachable, and communicative, which made the whole experience far less stressful and easier. We were extremely happy with both the process and the final result. Simon, who managed the project, kept us updated throughout and explained each stage clearly, while Graham, the lead builder, was highly knowledgeable. Overall, we felt completely confident in the team and very comfortable throughout the project. We would happily recommend Oakwood Builders to anyone looking for reliable, professional builders.
