Professional and excellent comms
Very good value, excellent communication, professional survey and detailed report. Even surveyed The roof timbers which I didn't request. I don't think you'll get better value. Our scope of services includes the preparation of structural calculations, reports, drawings and supporting documentation required for submission to Building Control and any other relevant statutory, warranty or project-related approval bodies.
All work will be carried out in accordance with current Building Regulations, relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and generally accepted structural engineering practice.
The structural design deliverables will be based on the information provided and available at the time of design.
The documentation will be developed to support the approval process and coordination with Building Control, the design team, contractors and other relevant stakeholders.
Reasonable technical queries and required revisions arising directly from the review process will be addressed as part of the agreed scope.
The contractor and project team are required to notify us promptly of any site discoveries, unforeseen conditions, discrepancies in existing information, or other matters which may have a structural impact.
The design is reliant on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided; accordingly, failure to communicate such matters in a timely manner may affect the validity of the design and could result in additional inspections, calculations or redesign work, which may be chargeable.
It is essential that the structural information is properly coordinated during construction.
We shall not be responsible for any works carried out that deviate from the approved design without prior review and written confirmation.
Any modifications, whether arising on site or instructed by others, must be referred to us for assessment prior to implementation.
Our objective is to provide a safe, practical and compliant structural solution suitable for construction; however, responsibility for the execution of the works remains with the contractor, who must ensure that construction is carried out in accordance with the approved design and relevant site conditions.
