Second times we have hired James. Another positive experience. We are really pleased with the work and finish. Communication was good and James is helpful and friendly and it felt very comfortable to let him get on with the work in a family members property we were overseeing the work in.

This was the second time we hired James after a very recent successful paint job. He did a really thorough job for a second time and we were really pleased with the work. We were able to trust him working on his own in a family members property we are overseeing work on. James is a good comunicator..really helps the process but also has a very friendly manner. He was able to fit us in and complete the work in the time we needed, leaving no mess and was keen to make sure we were really happy with the results and was very happy for us to point out anything not 100% which we didn't need to do.

We asked James to decorate a few rooms in our house plus the hall, landing and stairs. We were so pleased with the results that we asked him to decorate additional rooms. He is reliable, very clean and tidy and flexible. Managing to work around bathroom upgrades.

Trade came to redecorate our hallway. He used the wrong paint, which was the cheapest he could source. He painted windows inside and out using interior matt paint which had to be redone. He lied about the paint he had used when we finally managed to speak to him. Sadly, I’ve heard that he has done this to at least two other people. We have wasted thousands of pounds on work that needs to be redone. Not only would I not recommend trade Onwood but would tell you to avoid at all costs.

Lovely chap. Felt very safe and comfortable with him and he took great pride in his work. He transformed our front door from an embarrassment to a front door we are proud of. I would definately recommend him and use him again..

Reliable, great with communication and pleased with wallpapering - the cloakroom looks great!
