    The key wouldn’t turn in the lock and I needed the van the following day. These locks are built to withstand tampering and it was difficult to understand how to deal with it. I phoned Owl Security at 11 am and Barry arrived at 3 pm. He dealt with problem efficiently and managed to remove the lock by cutting the metal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anybody in this situation.

Established in May 2003, Owl Locksmiths and Security is a family business owned and operated by Sharon and Barrie Howell.

From our office in Hayle, South West of Cornwall, we provide a complete mobile Locksmiths and Security service 24/7, 360 days a year throughout mid to South & West Cornwall.

We can undertake any size project you may have and on any property type, whether it is your Home or your Business. We provide services to the private home owners and landlords as well as Rental Agents, Schools, Shops, Banks, Hotels, Care Homes and Recreational properties and many more.

We are approved by Cornwall Council Trading Standards,  undertake tasks for Devon and Cornwall Police force and in 2017 achieved our ISO9001:2015 award for business excellence.

With years of experience, Owl Locksmiths & Security, aim to provide a fast and efficient service, dealing with inquiries where possible within the hour, day or night. Our normal response time is 30- 60 minutes of your call and WE ALWAYS RESPOND!

We are definitely more cost effect than our larger competitors, charges are determined by the time of day, but we DO NOT CHARGE a CALL OUT FEE. We welcome regular work from clients as well as confirmed, ongoing contracts and in return for your loyalty we provide additional discounts and assistance.
