    Tree removal & conifer trimming

    Matthew and his assistant arrived on time and completed the work to a high standard .They removed 2 x dead Silver Birch trees,  reduced height of a large yew hedge , trimmed top and sides of very large conifer trees.All for a fair price . After the job they left the garden tidy. We would be happy to use Matthew again and happy to recommend .

    Tree pruning

    Silver birch - 2m reduction in crown and removal of ivy

    Tree had become heavily overgrown with ivy. Clear about work to be undertaken and fully inclusive quotation given. Advised on how to apply for planning permission - tree has a preservation order, so consent was needed to carry out work. Arrived at agreed time. Work completed to a good standard, all waste removed and garden left tidy. Advised on how to prevent recurrence of ivy growth.

    Crown Reduction on Oak Tree plus cutting back on conifers

    I am very pleased with the work carried out. Matthew and his team arrived on time and completed the work to a high standard including liaisoning with our neighbour and cleaning any debris from their garden. I will use again.

Panacea Gardens is a small company with big talents, capable of tackling any task big or small. Using only qualified personnel our work is always completed to a high standard.


Being a small business I can devote time and energy to your needs, ensuring we get the best outcome for your trees. I have over 15 years horticultural and arboriculture experience and am comfortably able to identify tree species and advise on the best procedures for that particular species. For example, some trees will take a pollard well whereas others will not; this knowledge will help with the continued health of your trees.


Whilst maintaining trees is preferable, there are of course times when a tree will need to be felled. We can handle trees of any size using rigging equipment for larger parts of a tree to ensure there is no damage to fences and outbuildings etc.
