• Door hardware fitted

  Matt was fantastic with fitting my door hardware. It was a big faff because I bought the wrong locks, so he had to buy some, but they weren't quite write and on the second attempt the company sent the wrong ones, so he had to return and buy again. The whole time Matt was so patient, and kept communicating status updates. He worked meticulously, and tidied everything up afterwards, and was a pleasure to chat to each time he came. I'll definitely be using him for any carpentry jobs that come up in the future, and highly recommend.

• large flat roof (44sqm) construction, structure and GRP waterproofing

  Matt did a great job with constructing our flat roof (44 square metres) on our new extension using C24 joists. It was a roof complicated by an unusual angle made by the boundary wall, building onto old stone walls, as well as 3 rooflight openings, but Matt and team executed it's construction professionally and competently. He was also a nice guy who went out of his way to finish the roof between bad weather days so that it was completed on time. His day rate was competitive and we are happy to recommend him.

• Repairs to exterior window frames

  This is the second time Matt has performed some remedial work on exterior window frames for me, at two separate addresses and on each occasion arrived on time, was courteous and his work was top quality and carried out really efficiently. He even painted the repaired woodwork for me afterwards to make it weatherproof, which was a nice touch. I can strongly recommend Matt
