A second call out resulted in a the manager, Jason, sending his subordinate coming out to reset the bait. He arrived 25 mins earlier then time agreed. We came back to the house he was abrupt saying he'd been waiting outside. We said the agreed time was 4 and he made his comment of "well I'm not going to wait around all day you know." Well he did end up waiting until 4 as that was the agreed time. When he eventually did come in for the appointment he was sarcastic and derogatory in his general demeanour saying that 'mice don't fly' when questioning me about where they were coming from. Rude.
Response from Pest-A-Lance
A call was made earlier in the day asking as it was our last job of the day could we attend earlier. The reply was no as I won’t be home. So we waited outside, at 3.30 the customer came out and was asked why we could not do our check earlier and was told its booked for four you can wait till 4 but don’t be late was a fair comment at this point. The bait was check bearing in mind this was a free check as problem was reported a month after treatment finished (a 4 visit treatment). No bait feed had happened and no mouse treatment was needed, but was told mouse was living in sofa and to put a trap behind it. We had a trap behind for a month with no action, on inspection it was found by our fully qualified technician that the reason the mouse was not eating the bait was due to the lack of hoovering of food behind the sofa and under the cushions, the costumer said the mice did it. On which the customer was told we can’t help if you don’t clean. This is what being honest gets you.
