Disappeared off the face of the earth
I'd booked in Phenix about 3 weeks in advance to come and do some work for me, so told everyone else I'd found someone. They came and quoted and everything was fine. However the day came and nobody appeared, nor did they reply to countless emails or phone calls. At a time when it's hard to find a plumber, I had to go back to the beginning to search for someone else, encountering huge waiting lists. So. Not only did they turn up on time to quote, these guys also turned up on time to do the work and, despite a change in the specification due to problems encountered on the way, completed almost on time and at the agreed price.
