  Rewiring house and replace old water tank

  The rewiring of the house was seems well done. A few damages I wanted to avoid and items not quite in the best place. Overall good. Plumbing leaked first attempt, offered to fix a leaking toilet, turned out worse. I fixed it myself in the end. I think the days overran a bit as they finished to drive back early to Bridport from Weymouth. Sometimes at 2.30pm! The last day I was left with thick dust everywhere as they didn’t bring a suitable hoover and were in a rush to leave early. For the price, a good cleanup was desirable. I was asked for extra money for plaster work, which isn’t great.

  Diagnosed fault with boiler very quickly. new part was installed and tradesperson stayed and worked

  Diagnosis was quick and efficient, going the extra mile to get my boiler up and running again. Kept me informed at all stages and explained how to limit the problem for the future.

  Failure to try to resolve situation

  Based on a photo of the fuse box a quote was given by email and an appointment made. The employee arrived but spent an hour doing nothing, then said he couldn't do the job and left abruptly. Later I got an email to say the employee had felt it unsafe, as parts of my house are rather cluttered (due to a bereavement). However this wasn't discussed in person so I still don't understand what the problem was. I now have to seek a quotation elsewhere and feel that due to the lack of any effort to resolve the situation at the time, this is not a reputable busines

  This job was quoted from a photograph only, we didn't visit site. When our engineer arrived he found the house in a terrible state- clutter and rubbish everywhere. He was not comfortable working in the environment so left. There was no charge for the work

  General wiring and electrical heated flooring

  We have used Phoenix many times over the last 3 years, starting with the total rewiring of our house. They are tidy and considerate, and we have found them all very friendly and helpful. Phoenix have completed plumbing and electrical work for us. When we found a problem with the depth of the flooring level, (caused by another contractor) Phoenix were proactive in liaising with them to find a solution. This ensured Phoenix could finish installing the heated flooring to their usual high standards. We would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again.
