Roofing / Flashing / External Waterproofing

Installation of traditional rolled lead sheets used for waterproofing critical junctions on roofs. Typical applications include lead flashings around chimneys, abutments, valleys, bay roofs, and roof windows. Lead is highly durable, weather-resistant, and traditionally used in high-spec roofing.

Pricing details

from £75 / per linear metre

Flashings: £45 – £75 per linear metre • Valleys or bays: £120 – £180 per m² (Prices depend on lead code, access, height, and complexity)

What's included

  • Site survey and measurement • Cutting and shaping of Code 3–5 or higher lead sheet (depending on location) • Fixing with lead clips, wedges, and patination oil • Joint sealing and dressing • Basic protection against staining (patination oil)

What's not included

  • What’s Not Included: • Scaffolding or tower hire (quoted separately if needed) • Chimney repointing or brickwork repair • Removal of old failed lead or cement • Long-span lead sheets (Code 6+) without additional fixings/support
