    Plastering bathroom

    Liam explained how he was going to do the job. Then carried it out in a professional manner, in good time. He also cleaned up after himself. Fabulous job, thank you.

    Excellent service

    Liam was brilliant. Took him 11.5 hours to prep and plaster my media wall. Superb finish. Just waiting for it to dry out. Would highly recommend . Polite and courteous . Cleaned up after work. Will be asking him to plaster my kitchen.

    Excellent plasterer

    Liam was very reliable, didn't let us down, communicated with me and my missus really well, very polite great workmanship, plastered and meshed the full bedroom in Less time then we agreed on, cleaned up after him self, definitely will get Liam back to plaster other rooms highly recommend.

    The work was to damp course, reboard and plaster a kitchen.

    Work was carried out sufficiently, with minimal fuss. Also any problems encountered were sorted via a quick phone call to ensure I was happy with how things were running and how they'd be when returning to the job.

    Kitchen ceiling replaced, complete re-plaster

    Ceiling was replaced, we had a door blocked up and the whole kitchen was replastered. Liam was very professional from start to finish. The quote was well itemised and competitive. Communication leading up to the job being done was great. He arrived at 8am and finished around 9pm. The work carried out is excellent and I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for plastering work. He left it all nice and tidy when he finished and let me know drying times etc. he keeps himself to himself while he’s on site and just got on with the job. Lovely man.

I qualified as a plasterer in 2007 and completed an additional year to learn more advanced plastering techniques. Once my 3 year apprenticeship had finished, I was given the opportunity to learn heritage traditional plaster on stately manor houses/ cathedrals/ castles around the UK. I got to see a lot of the country and learnt how valuable the traditional works are and the maintenance and restoration required to keep our heritage alive. I received one of the first level 3 plastering in heritage work certificates from His Royal Highness King Charles.

Upon completion of the heritage contract I moved back to modern plaster in Dorset on the south coast of England. After 4 years on the south coast I returned to Bury and started working with a builder doing full refurbishments of houses. This consists of removing all plaster on walls and taking it back to the brick and stud work. Then reapply base coat plasters to walls or dryline them with plasterboard and finishing off the setting with multi finish.

After a couple of years of this, in 2014 I travelled in Australia. Once there I learnt that I could work as a renderer and hone in on that skill set that I didn’t really get a chance to do in the UK climate. I had my own business and had to learn how to work with customers, employees and the challenges of running a business for the first time.

Having missed the UK I decided to return and established a business in the Dorset area. Working down on the South Coast I had to restart my business and felt that Plaster Pro was the best fit. With my experience, knowledge and qualifications I feel I know what the customer wants and I deliver quality work every time.

In the winter of 2022 I moved back to Bury, wanting to work where I grew up and the area I know.

I bring an excellent work ethic to every contract and provide an honest, reliable and an exceedingly high standard of work.
