Extremely pleased with all the work carried out in my new kitchen.

    Posted 20 May

I used Plumbwells for the second time when I recently had a whole new kitchen fitted. They were totally flexible with when I needed them to come as the kitchen progressed. They dealt with the washing machine and dishwasher plumbing, fitting a new sink and boiling water tap, adjusting pipework, and removing and installing a new radiator. Everyone who came to my house was punctual, worked without fuss, were tidy, knowledgeable and cheerful! It was a pleasure to have all of the employees who came in my home. I will definitely use Plumbwells for all my future plumbing and heating needs.

    Plumbwell plumb wise!

    Posted 15 May

I contacted Plumbwells Plumbing about a job and they responded very quickly. Once I gave the address their van pulled up within 30mins and once I’d explained to Harry, the plumber, it took him 20 mins to sort what I thought was going to be an awkward job. He was very professional and carried out the job with ease. I have never contacted Plumbwells before but would recommend them.

quick to come out but failed to diagnose the issue with growing charges upfront payment requests

    Posted 11 January

We called Plumbwells to service our boiler and fix a fault where it repeatedly cut out. We paid £150 and were told it was resolved, but it failed again within hours. A second visit (£300) resulted in the boiler still not working, with advice that the burner was faulty, parts were difficult to source, and any repair would come with no guarantee. After two failed visits, we were then asked to pay upfront for £200 for part. At this point, confidence was lost. A different engineer diagnosed the actual fault within 10 minutes a cracked capacitor and fixed it for £75. Plumbwells did refund £150

    Response from Plumbwells Plumbing Ltd

We were very disappointed to read this review as this issue was resolved amicably privately, with a refund given. When the burner was fitted the engineer advised it wouldn't come with a guarantee and it was only fitted temporally to give you heat whilst we ordered the new part. This is why you were not charged for the part. The boiler was very old, with many failing parts and really needed replacing. Your house was on the market at the time you advised a new boiler wasn't an option and just wanted a short term fix whilst the sale went through.

    Reliable quick service.

Plumbwells were absolutely amazing with my oil heater. I called them Friday morning as I had air in my line after the tank ran dry. They managed to fit in an engineer to attend between jobs as I had been with hot water for 3 days and I was starting to smell a bit! The engineer was quick and did a brilliant job. I would highly recommend Plumbwells. Fast service and really nice to deal with. Thanks E & G for making a stressful issue so much easier.

REMOVE BATH AND OLD TILES AND INSTALL NEW SHOWER TRAY AND RETILE

    Posted 04 September 2025

I had Plumbwells take out my old bathtub, remove all the old tiles and then install a new shower tray and new tiles. It took 3 days and I am absolutely delighted with the results. They did a great job and I would recommend them for bathroom and kitchen work.
