New Driveway
Paul and his team did an excellent job in paving my driveway and building a small partitioning wall. I was really pleased with the result. Patio - repointing and adjustment to works carried out last year
Brilliant. Paul and his colleague Mark were excellent. Respectful, knowledgeable, punctual and thrilled with the work. Constantly checked all was ok. Very open to adjustment without issue. New patio/garden redesign
Really happy with Paul, his team and the work. Garden work and patio redesign exceeded my expectations. Paul was happy to tweak the designs after what was originally agreed without fuss or hassle. Due to heat had some issues- but Paul arranged for this to be put right even though he had been paid in full. Even popped back to pick up rubbish that had been accidentally left. Extension and ground works

To clear back garden and form base for patio and build a rear elevation shell to roof level.
Job not completed Paul Chapman Construction Ltd in my opinion is inexperienced. He had to be told by the building inspector to put ventilation in. He covered existing doors with cement knowing they were going to an elderly couple. He failed to read the drawing regarding a steel lintel was going to use a cheap substitute. They worked in a chaotic manner. Their dogs running over next doors garden I offered wire fencing that was ignored The last text message I had from Paul was " thanks buddy have a lovely trip see you on your return safe journey" Still waiting reply from my texts.Verified reviewerJob location: BR2Response from P M Chapman Construction Limited
Please read past this review. I have been with checkatrade for over ten years and have never received negative feedback saying I am inexperienced. It is a standard procedure to accept and follow building controls advise and regulations. I priced this job on a standard drawings so priced to use standards lintels once we got to this stage building control suggested we use a stronger lintel so I drove to Oxfordshire to collect one ensure this did not hold work up at no extra cost All works have been signed off by building control I am saddened by these comments as I work mainly from recommendation as shown on other recommendations
