I am a Surveyor with over 20 years experience working in the construction industry, working in Private Practice, Main Contracting and subcontracting roles as well as helping domestic clients with their projects ensuring they are properly represented and their works are adequately managed from a cost and risk perspective.


I am an elected member of the QSi (MQSi) which is a professional body specifically for Quantity Surveyors and is equivalent to MRICS and MCIOB.

We can carry out the any of the following services to suit our client needs and requirements;

Domestic clients, we can help with;


  • Estimates for new build and refurbishment works – Providing help and advice in managing works and cashflow.
  • Contract management – We can tender projects on behalf of the client, issue reports on the tenders received, advise on the best way forward choosing a contractor to carry out the works, manage the works through the construction period and agree the final account with the contractor ensuring the client get best value for money.
  • We can review final accounts for projects to ensure that the client has not been over charged, giving a piece of mind that you’ve got value for money.
  • We can manage your project through the construction phase via regular reporting and final account forecasting to ensure there are no nasty surprises from the contractor etc the end of the project. This includes managing payments to the contractor to ensure the client is not at risk through the construction programme.
  • If works change we can liaise with you and your builder when valuing variations and agreeing costs for works.
  • For builders / developers we can assist in recovering retention monies from client and main contractors, also ensure that an contract changes are picked up and costs recovered.
  • Managing disputes between you and your builder / developer.


Please note we cannot carry out Building Surveys or Valuation Surveys for mortgage purposes, our services are in connection with carrying out building works and the management of the same.
