Took 1 day and not the 2 stated. They plastered and painted. Within a few weeks cracks visible in living room. Sam and Gavin returned, surprised and said "we don't get cracks" - but were cracks. Had not advised of cracks prev. They filled and we paid decorators to repaint. Few months later cracks appeared in living room and bedroom. Sam returned, cut out and refilled with beige product that did not turn white as advised. We paid decorators again to repaint. Within 2 weeks cracks appearing and thick lumpy bands where filler applied. Sam has ignored all attempts to discuss. Other plasterers have advised re-skim required.
Response from Polished Plaster Wimbledon Ltd
We are sorry to receive this feedback from this customer. I feel it is unfair that the customer did not mention that we went back to the property 3 times free of charge to try and resolve these issues for her. When we returned to the property, we realised that it was not the plaster that failed, but the problem was to do with the substrate join in the concrete that was obviously fairly weak. After the third return visit, we did explain to the customer that this is not something we would be able to rectify with plaster and she did seem to understand this. We also offered alternatives on how the issue could be rectified, but the customer did not want to do this. We feel we have done everything possible here to satisfy the customer and believe this review is unjust. Please see my other reviews for further reflection of our work.
