Giving praise where praise is due for exceptional Workmanship
I needed my oak flooring throughout the ground floor of the house sanding & varnishing so I chose Polishing UK . Martin, who owns the company carried out the most professional job. The completed job (90square meters) was so beyond my expectations. His attention to detail was truly extraordinary. The finished job was exceptional. He is a man who knows his game & goes the extra mile. Polishing UK is the ONLY Floor Varnishing & Sanding Company to go to. He is hugely personable & delivers amazing results. Do not go anywhere else. Many thanks Martin. Mike Trussell. London 23/9/2026Job location: SW1510 Wood Flooring Restoration

Highly competent and conscientious, lovely guy
Martin did a first class job of sanding and lacquering our wooden floors in hall and kitchen. He was very helpful and cooperative as we had to live in the house at the same time. There was a problem in that once the floor was sanded it was very different to what we anticipated and he went over and above to achieve the best result for us, even calling in an expert to help us navigate our way forward and in the end we were very pleased with the result. Throughout he was unvaryingly calm and pleasant even in the middle of a heatwave. We would recommend him unreservedly.Verified reviewerJob location: SW1510 Floor Sanding

Polishing UK has been making wood look beautiful since 2003, when the company was established. The company was set up by Martin Currie, who entered the trade in 1990.
The services we offer are floor sanding, french polishing and furniture repair.
Most of our sanding is attached to a mighty hoover, which makes our work 99.8% dust free.
I provide free esimates and advice and have various samples of colours and finishes to show.
Please see the link to my video to see how we are virtually dust free - https://youtu.be/LOJ-mgXS_2E
