Company info
Polishing UK has been making wood look beautiful since 2003, when the company was established. The company was set up by Martin Currie, who entered the trade in 1990.
As a small company, Martin is able to provide a more personal service and work closer with customers and clients, to achieve outstanding results. Martin is fully insured and can sometimes provide a bespoke colouring and finishing service.
Free estimates are provided, with a range of samples for floors and colours when staining floors.
Polishing UK prides itself on being professional, polite and punctual and most importantly, we enjoy what we do.

Resanding and varnishing
Martin has done a fantastic job sanding and varnishing the kitchen/dining room floorboards. He is very knowledgeable about products and finishes and was able to create just the look that I wanted. He worked skilfully and carefully, with great attention to detail. He always replied to messages promptly which was very helpful both before and during the work. I would highly recommend him!

Engineered Wood Sanding and Polishing
Martin did a great job restoring the wood floor in 2 rooms. He sanded surfaces and applied varnish on top. The work has been carried out very carefully and cleanly. He did manage to get rid of the black marks, that other professionals didn't promise to remove. Very polite communication and punctuality.
