Clinton took on my project and made it a reality. He was reliable, trustworthy , dedicated and easy to discuss ideas with. Clinton responded to my email enquiry quickly and courteously. His quote was competitive and his communication good. He reclaimed some lovely, small, weathered stones, ideal for the pond surround and appeared to have skill in cutting these to fit. However, unfortunately, he decided to cement them directly onto the soil without ground preparation i.E digging a trench and/or laying a sub base. The stones were not secure and the cement did not set so the job will require re-doing. Clinton agreed to redo the job however did not inspire confidence that the second time would be more successful.

Clinton had a good appreciation of the work involved. He carried out the work on time and to a competitive price, in a friendly manner. However, I found that he needed assistance on the setting out of the new overall levels, which I had to provide for him, as well as needing design input on a number of other smaller issues. All of his work was largely levelled “by eye” rather than using the simple basic equipment and methods that would have achieved the smoother surface to the lawn that we originally envisaged before we started.

Clinton did an amazing job, the pond was an absolute mess and now it looks incredible and our new fish love it. Very professional, quoted to my specific needs with no additional charges. He was really helpful and gave me lots of information on my next steps and what I could do next. Also did the job very quickly and came back the next day to double check everything was ok, amazing customer service! 100% will be a loyal client from now on!!
