What a fantastic team ! From the initial site visit in November, the quoting stage through to installation- without exception every person was helpful and courteous. The pricing was similar to others quotes but I felt Portman had been around a while and had a decent reputation …. And now I know why ! An excellent job by Portman Doors, from the Initial visit to the showroom to the fitting. Two wonderful fitters who did such a good job, fitting the doors, cleaning up and removing my old doors, making sure no damage was done to my drive . Well all was completed Lee gave me full instructions on how to operate the doors and how to clean them. Well done Portland Doors on an excellent service. I cannot recomend you enough. This was to replace the garage door they had installed 17 years ago. The engineering and finish were excellent. And when I pointed out that there were some wires from the burglar alarm fastened to the door frame that weren't neatly covered they came back the next day and fixed it. Absolutely first class customer service through the sale, to measuring up, helping to make a decision and through the installation process. The installation engineer checked with me on minor details that needed deciding on as various times as he was installing the doors to make sure I’d be 100% satisfied. He also gave me advise on other finishing touches I might want to do as part of a new garage build. The doors look brilliant and work perfectly. Fantastic customer service !! I accidentally drove through my garage door during lock down, badly damaging my car and the garage door . Not the best !! They came out promptly and provided me with comprehensive quotes for a few options of my choice . I was always kept up to date on delivery times and they fitted the garage door within a day of them receiving it from the manufacturer . They also offered many times to help me secure the damaged door until the new door arrived which I thought was really helpful and considerate . We were recommended to Portman Doors by someone who themselves had been recommended. Portman were excellent throughout from their initial site visit through to the choosing then ordering and, ultimately, fitting of the door. Excellent workmen on the job, the most pleasant and helpful team in the office. I could not fault any one of them. And I am delighted with the new garage!.
