New bathroom
Bought a new house which had a manky old bathroom. It was tiny because the headroom above the staircase had "bitten into" the bathroom, depriving it of much of its space. Got PPM in to pull it all out and put a new bathroom in. They've done a really marvelous job of it. They ripped out the old tiles and their moldy grouting and replaced with bright wet-walling. They replaced the rotten floor and put in a new, modern sink, loo and shower. He's reconfigured the layout completely, recovering much of that wasted space. It looks so much bigger. The workmanship is great. Thoroughly...Verified reviewerJob location: GL5110 Posted 23 June 2020
Fitted new laminate flooring and scotia
We had Paul fit our new laminate flooring as the old one was knackered and terrible! It looks brilliant and we are so so pleased with the outcome!Verified reviewerJob location: GL210 Posted 08 June 2020
New kitchen fitted, with tiling, decorating and electrical work
Paul installed a kitchen for me, as well as all the decorating around it. Excellent workmanship, especially on the tiles which were a tricky shape (diamonds!) and have been completed to a high standard. I'm very pleased with how it's turned out, and he's even left my home cleaner than he found it!Verified reviewerJob location: GL515.25 Posted 29 February 2020
30 Meters of garden fencing with concrete fence posts
Work seemed ok when Paul left. Two thirds of the fence blew down in the recent storm. Relied on Paul's experience to secure fence posts to withstand local weather conditions. He talked proudly about the fence lasting decades and needing only the panels to be replaced. I didn't think I needed to tell Paul how to do his job. Posts need to be a good 10 to 15cm deeper and set in a wider boot of concrete. Requires a breaker to go through the rocky ground. Paul has ignored repeated messages asking him to come and discuss his work with me.Verified reviewerJob location: GL5Response from PPM General Building & Property Maintenance
Posts were concreted 2 feet deep into rocky ground which is normal storm Dennis has caused lots of damage including uprooting trees ect I would have been happy to come back and re set the posts if he had paid the full amount on completion but he didn't and refused to pay and based on that I wasn't happy to return.
