I got a competitive quote from Prestigious Maintenance for installing my washing machine and provided detailed instructions and photos. The technician arrived on time, but after drilling a hole, he realized the pipe was too short. Despite the machine not being installed, I was still charged the full amount and told I’d need to pay more once the extension pipe arrived. When the pipe arrived, I couldn’t get in touch with them, so I ended up doing it myself. I’m disappointed that I paid for an incomplete job and received no follow-up. Wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

Lewis contacted me straight away with a quote for the job which appeared to be reasonable … I was actually waiting on the arrival of 2 rustic pine shelves , so as soon as they arrived Lewis confirmed the date and time. He was punctual and a very pleasant young man.. efficient and tidy .. I would definitely recommend Lewis to family and friends .

Lewis attended our rental property to provide a quote for various basic repairs - new internal door hinge, kitchen drawer runners, replacement stair spindle and re-seal kitchen sink. Intital communication was good and we recieved the quote quickly. Lewis then attended to complete the works, however, on the day messaged to say one of the materials had not arrived. Lewis then attended the follow day to complete works. The work was completed to a fairly basic standard. The original quote was increased without agreement but then reverted to original quote so ok in the end.

I think the term Jack of All Trades-Master of None applies. The door I paid £575 for has just come off its hinges. Well done Mr. Hiscox.

The company were friendly, helpful and discussed the work in order to accommodate my requirements. The work was done in a timely manner, and I didn't have to wait any time before they came to do the work.

Great communitcation on what was going on, and issues found, options for the fix. Very polite and freindly, honest. On time and no issues doing the job. Highly recommend
