We agreed a fixed price based on a 12 day estimate, confirmed in writing. Once work was complete, we discovered the price had been calculated on a day-rate basis and included 13 days labour. The work was finished notably faster.
We paid in good faith, with a mutual deduction of one day for outstanding work. Stuart was due to return but became unresponsive, only replying when we posted a review.
Our efforts to resolve the pricing matter amicably have been met with a condescending tone and serious accusations, rather than engagement. Stuart has confirmed he won't return to complete the work.
