Staircase wall and ceiling needed replastering

Chris was an excellent tradesperson who did a fantastic job, replastering our wall. He was very thorough and provided a great service. I’m very happy with the results.

  Skimming of Victorian living room

We booked Chris following good recommendations on Checkatrade. We have an old Victorian house with old plasterwork and the brief was to replaster the living room including coordinating with a tiler around a fireplace to ensure a decent finish. We were left with a few patches which were untidy and unfinished, and despite several chasers, there was never any return to remedy. We ended up having to get a new plasterer to come and re-do large amounts of the work as the plaster had not properly bonded to the wall in several places, and there were untidy finishes in several places, which cost us several hundred £ which we will not be able to recover. Possibly one of those plasterers who may be good on a new build but would not recommend for any more involved projects than that. Very disappointed in poor communication and lack of resolution to the issues we were left with.
