  Inexperienced

Matt from Profinish replaced ths bathroom ceiling, and the completed job looks good. However, he is inexperienced when completing work on older properties and is not competent to assess what to do with existing structures e.g ceiling light fittings when installing the plasterboard. There were also inconsistencies with the explanations provided regarding the removal of the old ceiling, and why there are gaps between the new plaster boards. ADD - 07.10 - Matt, I understand that this review of your work comes across as negative, and you have sent a message to me stating that the job was a ‘complete nightmare from start to finish because I made it that way'. I do not think that I was obstructive or difficult with any of the suggestions you made about the work required and I accepted the explanations you provided to my questions as you are the plasterer and should be fully knowledgeable of what is required of any plastering job. I am sure that if you are a skilled at your work then your business will not suffer as a result of my review. Please do not contact me again about this.

  Superb quality and service

Matthew turned up exactly when he said he would and was very thorough in explaining options and the best way to achieve our goals. The job was carried out to an impressive standard and the whole area was left really clean with the working area jet washed daily. Overall - seriously impressed as was my wife which can be hard work 👌🏻👌🏻

  Plaster chimney breast

I had a fireplace removed and needed to find a plasterer quickly to avoid other jobs being re scheduled, I phoned this company and spoke to Matt who very kindly offered to come the next day to plaster the chimney breast. When Matt arrived he explained what he needed to do and how long it would take he worked very well and when the job was completed he didn’t leave any mess to clear up and the quality of his work was fantastic, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends or family.
