Chimney Repointing
My house chimney needed repointing. A site inspection was quickly undertaken and a quotation provided. The job was completed efficiently and well within the initial estimate for time. The work looks very good and they cleared up after themselves afterward the job was done. A project satisfactorily completed
The work was to reset existing patio steps and repoint. They turned up promptly on the agreed date and worked continuously for the two days which they estimated. The result was a good and clean job. Having problem with damp
Why should I have my walls re pointed ? ... helps prevent heat loss through the walls. After rain, water can freeze in the bricks and surrounding mortar, expanding and causing damage. This freeze-thaw weathering does not look good and ignoring damaged or substandard mortar could lead to a damp and cold house.
