Very Very Expensive
I contacted Property Response Group as we have very low water pressure in the house. We were advised that we needed to have a new Expansion Valve and Mixer Valve. These were fitted but it didn't solve the problem. I was then told we needed a new Water Tank. The quote arrived and the Tank price was marked up by 30% with Vat added to an inc Vat price so nearly 50% mark up. I was quoted £1995 plus Vat labour charge and a further £250 in parts. A total of over £4K. When I questioned the price I was told I could buy the tank myself. I never got an explanation for the excessive labour charge. Hmmm

Competent service
Needed replacement for worn out and leaking kitchen tap. Offered a competitive quote and up front about overall costs including VAT, and replacement costs. Asked for photos to see what was needed to help with cost estimates. Quote given gave a clear breakdown of costs. Engineers arrived within the time slot specified, were polite, friendly, quick and competent.

Replacement shower mixer unit.
Very good communications including initial invoice, time of arrival etc. Very professional throughout. New shower unit installed super quick and now giving us perfect performance. One slight problem was some initial lack of communication between plumber and central team but this was rapidly sorted out. Highly recommend.

Professional work completed without fuss.
I had a leak from my main toilet cistern. The guy was pleasant and efficiently diagnosed the problem and fixed it without any fuzz. He also assessed my shower thermostat problem, diagnosed that a new shower was needed and arranged for a second visit to complete the job once the parts could be sourced. A second plumber came three days Meyer and replaced the shower in less than an hour . Both guys were great and the initial call from the company was courteous and professional. Pricing was reasonable too.
