Mark and his team did a great job of removing spray foam insulation and replacing the roof on our property. They ensured that we were kept informed about the work being carried out at each stage and confirmed progress at the end of each day to keep in line within their estimated completion timeframe. All of the team were polite and professional and ensured that the site was clear and tidy when they left. Contacted Pro-Roof for quote to repair loose roof tile. Swift reply to message asking for photo and gave good advice in reply. Then came to look, spoke about what the problem was, gave me the quote and the guys were able to complete the job there and then as they had what they needed with them. Founded in 2000 by Mark Ludlow, who has over three decades of roofing experience, the business is now run by Mark alongside his son Marcus Ludlow. Marcus joined the company straight from school and has worked alongside his dad for more than 11 years. Now a fully qualified roofer himself, Marcus is trained in a wide range of roofing disciplines including slating, tiling, lead work, and flat roofing.
Together, Mark and Marcus personally handle all enquiries, site visits, quotations, and customer care — ensuring a hands-on, consistent approach from start to finish on every job.
We specialise in re-roofing domestic properties, with expertise in:
• Traditional slates and tiles
• lead work including lead welding
• Built-up felt and modern single-ply systems
• Flat roofing with full guarantees
• Storm and winter damage repairs for both domestic and commercial properties
We are proud members of the NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors) for over 20 years and are committed to maintaining the highest industry standards. We also invest in the future of the trade — We are CITB-registered sending 2 apprentices through college to achieve a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations (Slating&Tiling).
Our training includes development at the National Construction Training Services (NCTS) and their Master Roofers Academy, where our team has received specialist instruction in lead welding and bossing.
