  What a positive experience. I had an emergency requirement on a Sunday during the height of tourism season. A broken bathroom heater that was stuck in the on position and connected to a mains power supply. The wonderfully charming a d knowledgeable Richard arrived within 20 minutes of my request for help, diagnosed and resolved the problem in time for guests to arrive. Saved my day that's for certain........how does one go about nominating such an individual for a Knighthood?

  Helpful, friendly & did a great job!

  Our new kitchen meant that we needed a different electric supply run to the kitchen from the main fuse board and also wiring for new lighting. Richard completed the jobs on time, was tidy, friendly and helpful. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced and took the time to explain what was required. He also offered various solutions and options for lighting, which was really helpful. We are very grateful that Purdy’s was recommended to us and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.   Old bungalow, new electrics required

  Richard was recommended after we relocated from Kent to Bude. He listened carefully to our requirements and informed us of areas in need of updating. Richard worked swiftly and skillfully, and always cleared any mess. He even worked in the small roof space on a scourchingly hot day fitting downlighters in our bathroom, kitchen and living room, a real trooper! Richard retuned to fit the electics for the new kitchen. Richard also fiited: a new clearly labelled consumer unit, new sockets and electricity in the garage. I wholeheartedly recommend Richard for your electrical needs.

  Wiring of large extension

  The work carried out was to a very high standard, with is evident in the attention to detail given to how the lights and sockets were installed and fitted. Communication was excellent, as Richard went through the lighting plan, discussion diffenrt options and then took his time to outsource high quality prodcts. We are very pleased with the service and reliability and would highly recommend his services.
