Overcharged
Took advantage of a vulnerable adult who had already been let down twice by other firms and was crying down the phone. Significantly overcharged brought the price down eventually (which was still too much). Moaned because they had to carry a unit upstairs saying it was heavy. At the end insisted on the original phenomenal price. Be very wary of them!Verified reviewerJob location: DA14Response from Pyramid Removals
This review relates to a short notice job request by phone. Details of the job were requested and a quote was given based on that information. When undertaken the job was more involved and labour intensive than described and therefore an additional 15% cost was respectfully requested. Whilst we fully understand the stress of moving , we would add that with short notice job requests where prior viewing/confirmed itinerary is not possible, quotes are based on the information given at booking and there is an expectation of trust that the work required will be, more or less, as described.
