My wife’s her car was booked for a diagnostic check on the engine management light showing in the dash board of her car at a quoted cost of £35. After the job was done I was given a summary of what was done with no definite identification of what the problem was; the lady at the counter said and I quote; “they did a code reading of the fault showing on the dashboard and it says that it might be the catalyst but to ascertain that it is the catalyst, we have to charge you a further £70 for this plus the cost of sorting out the problem” I said this is not acceptable as I was told and under the impression that the whole idea of the diagnostics is to identify the exact problem with an exact solution not a “code reading plus a further charge of £70 to investigate the problem further”. We were charge the £35 and given a receipt which highlighted the labour as “diagnostics” with description as “code read”.

I have used this company for a number of years now and all the work I have done has been faultless. Would highly recommend them.
