Although the work was done well and the roof no longer leaks, there were a lot of other issues. The quote more than doubled, John insisted on cash, and I have asked 4 times for a receipt which has not been sent more than 2 months on. There was tar left on my patio, garden furniture and on the access to my neighbours' property. John said that his business bank account was not working. In addition his email address doesn't function and I felt that could be more professional in his business dealings.

John came out quickly and arrived on time. He was professional and soon found the problem on the roof that was causing the issue (which was a leak into the flat). He fixed it immediately and without trying to 'sell up' or find other issues with the roof (which I have had experience of in the past). Overall he seemed knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy and I would highly recommend this company.
