doorbell scammer. he (james) claimed to have noticed a few broken slates on our roof whilst working for a neighbour. quoted reasonably £700 to replace, including scaffolding. after moving the scaffolding he said "your main ridge is bust, extra £3300". Shortly after: "mate, your roof is rotten I cannot even put the slates that I took up back down to fill the hole in the roof. " [pause] "But I give you a discount on fixing it all up, say £21k total". I declined and have asked to finish the work he quoted for and I had paid for. He become bullying and threatening and very annoying. Stay away!
