Removing bamboo roots and cutting Leylandi

Good communication whilst quoting and arriving for the job. I’d sent photos of what needed doing so they knew what was required. Said they needed more than a ladder they had with them for the Leylandi so did the bamboo. Left having appeared to take out the roots. No sooner had they left than I was barraged with requests for payment even though only half the job was completed. Regretfully I paid. Roots still there ( just covered up) and communication has been non existent since. So, half a job and one not done properly. Cannot recommend
