  Restoration of 3 sash windows in a Victorian house in a conservation area in Ayr.

  Delighted with the restoration of the windows. John is a craftsman who does the job correctly, no shortcuts from him. He showed me how he was dealing with difficult areas so I was fully aware how he was fixing it. Also very tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend John to complete work. I will definitely request him to return for the next stage of the restoration.

  Repairs to our sash windows - Ayrshire

  I cannot recommend John enough. I contacted him by telephone, he came out to inspect and met up with my daughter at our flat. He was courteous and polite explaining what he could do to repair our sash windows. He then came back for a futher inspection and to measure before submitting his estimate. At no time time did we ever feel pressured into using his business, throughout we felt confident he would do his very best to repair our window and he did a really great job, completed on time and on budget. We are absolutely delighted with his craftsmanship. A true professional and lovely man.

  Replace sills, make repairs as needed

  A number of windows needed to be repaired. John was very professional and kept his word. Work was completed on time and on budget. When an unforseen problem came up, John explained my options and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. I would hire John again and recommend him to friends.

  Repair and restoration of large number of sash windows on listed building.

  Outstanding quality and workmanship. Fair pricing for a most challenging job carried out punctually, skilfully and well within budget and schedule by an exceedingly pleasant gentleman. While my "all tens" scores might seem a little over generous, they are truly well earned. I confidently recommend this tradesman. I did ask for extra work towards the end of the original project and I am very pleased with it as well.

  Draught proof sash window and new window sills.

  John is extremely professional and keeps you advised every step of the work being carried out. In my opinion he is a perfectionist and he takes great pride in his profession. John is the tidiest workman I have had in our house. I am definitely getting John to undertake more work this year.

  5 sash windows, all in disastrous condition were refurbished where possible and replaced as necessary.

  Can't fault the standard, he obviously takes pride in his work.
