Honest and very reliable. Highly skilled.
Gary was amazing. This is the 3rd job he has done for us but the biggest. Gary knows his craft and his brickwork and care he puts into it is first class. Gary is also a great project manager and the build would not have gone as well as it did without his problem solving skills and guidance. Highly recommended! Thank you Gary.

Build retaining wall in garden and walls to back extension
Gary is a really knowledgeable and experienced bricklayer and talked us through all the relevant building regs and the work was built to those standards. There was roughly 10 tons of soil and rubble to dig out which all had to be carried through the house. Luckily Gary is a very tidy and conscientious worker so as well as having really tidy brickwork, the house didn't get in a mess ! Whilst doing the work at our place I couldn't help picking his brains, and to be honest he's the neatest and most knowledgable bricklayer I've met. Will definitely be having him back for the next stage.

Excellent repointing of the front of our house
Gary and Wayne were excellent throughout the job. What I particularly appreciated was their detailed communication (something I’ve struggled with in the past with tradespeople). Gary was clear about the job in hand, what additional work may need to be done (our choice) and was clear on the approximate end of the work. He also regularly sent pictures and was open to evening calls when I had a few questions. As someone who works in communications I found this a big plus and would use him again.

Renovation to rear elavation
We Initially hired Gary to carry out repairs to a botched insurance "repair" carried out by another builder. His work was so good we asked him to repoint the entire rear of the house which badly needed older work rectifying. The quality of his work is superb - very neat with thorough attention to detail using all the correct materials (lime mortar, not concrete). All through the job he was great at communicating with us and giving us accurate updates on timings etc. The job was finished on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard. I really can't recommend him highly enough

Sustainable Construction

Garden patios
Gary & Chris worked wonders on helping us redesign our garden and patios. Old cobble sets were reused for a new patio and they look better than ever! Additionally, they laid a new raised wraparound porcelain patio along with steps and a gravel path We are so happy with end result. This is the third time working with Ramsgate Brickwork on various major parts of our house refurbishment and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
