Rear extension built and new office and utility included in existing house
Martyn was brilliant for the first 3 months (he would have scored 8+ on all categories),then things started to go wrong. He arranged a new job before he finished ours and lost focus on our job, so never finished up. We are now having to finish many tidying up jobs ourselves and having to redo the whole of the plumbing in the utility because he connected the toilet to a soakaway, not the sewer. We have been trying to communicate with him since early october but he has not returned calls or returned items that belong to us. Very disappointed after it all started so well.

New kitchen fitted
Should have taken 2weeks not SIX! Different workmen turning up or not turning up at all with no notice given. Texts and emails not answered. Boss injured his hand on another job so said get the work finished and send me the bills and I will reimburse you ( have his email to confirm this arrangement) Taken a long time as having extension done since December. Sent receipts for work. Again no reply to my texts or emails !!! Very unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

Single storey rear extension, addition of an office and utility in existing downstairs space
I would recommend Martyn to anyone planning to do a building project. I found him on Check-a-trade and ever since our first meeting he has been friendly, approachable, flexible, helpful and tidy. He has gone to extra lengths to make everything the way we want it to be and we can fully trust him to keep his word. He is good at advising us where we want advice and letting us decide where we have strong opinions. He has been considerate of neighbours and stopped making noise for periods when we have asked that of him. I couldn't ask for more in a builder.

Tiling the little bathroom and boxing in the pipe work
Fantastic builder did a great work the tiling was brilent and the work was good a very good trade person all round

Loft extension, soundproofing and kitchen knock-through/replacement
Not yet finished, but they've been a real revelation - hardworking, honest and up front about everything, made useful suggestions about our plans, and very clear they don't charge for small extras or things not specified in the fine print - they quote for the job to be done right. On the night of a massive electrical storm we'd barely been woken at 1.30 am before Martynas appeared on the roof to make sure it was watertight. Overall they've taken as much of the hassle and stress out of the work as possible and the price was excellent.

Extension at back of property
Excellent from start to finish. From foundations to bricklaying to roofing no complaints at all. They are approachable and friendly, incredibly hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble when asked. Would definitely recommend and use again when required.
