Sadly ever since the job was completed the render has cracked and fallen off in most places, the tradesman was also supposed to be a friend and has tried to blame me for the issues with the work and for the unsuitable time of year he tried to complete the job, which was November, which is of course normally cold and wet. He has subsequently told me he no longer works for himself and will not be paying me back, I have been waiting for him to fix the job for close to 2 years now and I am informed that I simply wasn't being patient enough for him to fix a job that wasn't his fault.

I was hassled from day one by this consumer , we had some Bad luck with the weather as well . Job was completed . He was happy , just didn’t follow instructions on sealing The render before painting . So I returned to the job to help an old school friend out . As I was removing water damaged render we then found expanding foam in a retaining wall . ( was hidden when first applied) render will never stay on foam . I have been back and used a different style of render , leaving only a day to day and half left till finish , all free of labour charge . Had booked in a weekend to do it ( it rained ) . Then getting abusive messages , threats and so on .
