Removal of three large tree, one laurel hedge, one privet hedge and stump grinding

Redwood Service Ltd did an absolutely outstanding job. They removed three very large trees, two hedges and cleared many stumps — it was a huge job and they handled it with great skill and care. The whole team was professional, friendly, and hardworking. They went above and beyond. A couple of patio tiles were inevitably chipped due to the nature of the job and a few stumps missed, but they returned promptly to sort it out — and even sealed the tiles! Really impressed with their work ethic and customer service. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Felling of dangerous trees and removal

I could not rate this company more highly. They are brilliant…..extremely knowledgeable, skilful, hard working and they have an incredible selection of equipment which they own rather than hire. This was a big job. 17 100 ft aged, splitting poplar trees were safely felled and every bit of the trees was recycled. The trunks were transported away and branches etc chipped for biomass on a very large scale

Felled a diseased oak tree

Nick and his team were very friendly, professional and helpful. The tree was in a dangerous condition and being next to a main road was very concerning. He obtained permission from the Council to fell the tree and left our garden very tidy after the work was done. Very pleased.

Redwood Tree Services was founded in 1985, now in its thirty eighth year of trading and still providing high quality workmanship and customer satisfaction to all our clients. We cover every element of the tree work industry, from tree planting to large crane tree removals. No matter how big or small your requirements are we guarantee to provide you with a highly professional service.

We are extensively equipped to carry out all tree surgery and forestry/site clearance operations.

We recycle all our waste, any wood chip produced is used as fuel for power stations or small wood chip boilers and we supply seasoned hardwood firewood.

We use Aspen petrol and oils in our chainsaw and hedging equipment, this is a more environment friendly fuel which produces a lot less harmful emissions.

Nick Rose, Prof Dip.Arb lvl 4 , M.D , has extensive knowledge of both the Forestry and Arboriculture industries working in both for approximately 33yrs. As well as being a qualified Arboriculture Consultant, he also has numerous NPTC certificates for various operations both in tree surgery and forestry, and is most qualified to deal with any situation.

All team members are trained to NPTC standard, we have a rolling training program in place where we promote personal development for each and every one of our workers. This helps with keeping up with new techniques and health and safety requirements.
