Loft conversion
We used Refined Developments to carry out a loft extension on our house. They were reliable, tidy and carried out great workman ship. Alex kept us in the loop every step of the way. Would highly recommend and will be using them again for any future works

Garage conversion
Alex and his team recently converted our garage, opening a brand new kitchen into our living/dining area. From the first meeting Alex was professional, knowledgable and helpful. The finished result was way beyond our expectations. The team arrived early and tidied up at the end of each day. We were kept updated each step of the build and any changes made by us, Alex was happy to accommodate. The whole team are a great bunch of guys, a real pleasure to have working in our home. The quality of work is second to none and the job completed in the agreed timeframe. Definitely recommend.

Extension
Refined Developments (RD), headed by Alex Ottaway, is very much a family firm. We employed them to enlarge one of our bedrooms and add an ensuite shower room. Although the job was not large it still required the skills of bricklayers, roofers, carpenters, joiners, cabinet makers, electricians, plumbers, plasterers, tilers, painters and decorators; and so took a good deal of planning and consultation with us, the clients. This was well done. The main advantage of working with RD was that their people were all unfailingly friendly, courteous and polite. We are delighted with the results.

Ground floor kitchen extension and fitting.
The work carried out on our Ground Floor Extension was done to a very high standard. The final amount paid was as per the quote apart from requested extras. The team were on site early and were very polite.

Garage Conversion and Kitchen knock through/refit

Garage conversion to enlarge living room. New kitchen fitted. Laminate flooring throughout house
Alex originally quoted for the garage conversion but we were so pleased with the quality of the work he, and his team, are in the process of doing a complete refurbishment of the house. Highly competent and helpful. Polite and careful. A pleasure to have around despite the expected upheaval of working through the house room by room. We have used a lot of builders over the years and this is truly a company where there are no problems only solutions. The pricing is fair and upfront. We will always make them our first call if we need anything done. They definitely live up to the company name!
