Cowboys, cutting corners - poor workmanship, doesn’t honour guarantees
I had RDS dig out and install resin in my garden for a low maintenance alternative to lawn and flower beds in the back end of 2024 for £6500 but unfortunately the corner cutting and workmanship is horrendous. They resin was laid mainly over mud and no base . At the end of October 2024, I noticed major issues. The resin binder started turning from clear to a milky and white colour, there resin started to sink due to the lack of a solid or any base, the resin started to crack and crumble and now as of June 2025 it is absolutely covered in weeds and grass. Letter of intent will be sent.

Are RDS still operating
Brilliant work carried out, great work force and owner, but we discovered a crack in the surface over a year and a half ago which had spread, John the owner came out and inspected this and stated he would fix it when the weather permitting, still waiting I’m afraid, tried texting and calling him but no answer to either, is this company still trading ? Does anyone know. I have been left with a costly repair is so.

Bonded Aggregate Surfacing

Replacement back patio
Old concrete pad dug out and removed. Base dug out and retaining edges fitted. Base poured and left to dry. Resin mixed and poured. Partial ramp for wheelchair user was replaced in matching resin finish and all edges made wheelchair friendly. All waste removed. Work was carried out over a few weeks, weather permitting. Good communication and information about what was happening. I acted as go between for an elderly relative and understanding and empathy was shown. A great end result.
