    Honest, friendly and knowledgeable.

    Richard did our drawings for our planned extension on our house. Throughout the whole process, he was honest, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. He communicated very well through the whole process and took care of all the planning application. We will be using him for any future work we may undertake, and have recommended him many times to friends and family who need an architect.

    Richard is an absolute professional, he’s given excellent service from the beginning right away through to the end especially on a difficult planning application that I had. I would highly recommend Richard as he is extremely knowledgeable and always available for advice. I am extremely happy with the service that Richard has provided and I will be using him again in the future as I have used different Planning consultants in the past and Richard has definitely been the best that I have come across.

    Dormer loft conversion

    Richard came highly recommended to me from a close circle of construction professionals, after being advised by other architects that my project was unachievable due to being unable to achieve fire regulations due to the open planned space created on the ground floor of my property. Thanks to Richard’s vast knowledge and experience and his can do attitude he devised a fire strategy that has now been unwritten by a fire safety expert, and my local authorities building inspector.Which has now meant we can achieve our well needed third floor. I cannot recommend this company enough.

I offer architectural design and construction management services for private individuals as well as companies. I have two relevant degrees, one in architecture, one in construction and over twenty five years’ experience. Although not ARB registered and therefore under law I cannot call myself architect, I can offer many other architectural services. I also carry professional indemnity.


I offer a complete end to end service, including the initial design feasibility ideas, to gaining planning & statutory approvals and if required procuring the build and managing the build on site.

I work with private individuals as well as construction companies. I spend time with my clients and guide them through the process of design / planning / building and always give honest advice.


I have a lot of experience in all areas of construction and Architecture from designing housing schemes, remodelling homes or commercial premises , some of my schemes are shown here or you can see more on Instagram RCA_Architecture.
