Cannot recommend Richard James wooden flooring enough. We had a leak in our flat which required the flooring to be replaced. Richard came round and completed the floor replacement and it looks as good as new - we are very happy with it!

We picked Richard James as they were on the Quick Step laminate approved fitters list and were based near Camberwell. Richard came to the property fairly quickly (he's a busy guy!) and gave us a very honest and matter-of-fact assessment. The job was quite tricky, fitting an entire flat with laminate and underlay on very wonky Victorian floorboards. He was very positive though and told us our options and recommended good underlay. Felt like we were in good hands for the whole process. Very nice guy, would definitely use his services again!

If you want a quality job, really good experience of having work done and someone who cares why would you look anywhere else. Richard is brilliant - such a nice guy and a true craftsman who cares.

We had the carpet on our stairs and landing replaced with quickstep laminate. We have quickstep vinyl already in the house, so we had a pretty good idea of what it would look like. James did an amazing job of the stairs and the landing, he also did the inside of our airing cupboard adjoining to the landing as the exposed wood there needed proper flooring laid down. We are very pleased with it. James was friendly, professional, tidy and courteous and we highly recommend him.

Richard arrived on time, priced the job and agreed start date. His workmanship is amazing, he did the whole ground floor of my sons house and it is perfect. Would recommend him 100%.

My experience couldn’t have been any better. Richard was incredibly helpful and accommodating since the moment I contacted him. I just got the floor of my entire flat done and I can’t fault anything! Very punctual and incredibly profesional. So sooo happy with the results… I would definitely recommend him!
