  Consumer unit replacement, EICR sign-off, and fire-rated bathroom LED lighting

  Richard and his electrician, Mo, did a first-class job replacing our consumer unit/fuse board, signing off the EICR, and fitting new fire-compliant LED downlights in the bathroom. Richard quoted a very fair and reasonable price compared to several other quotes I received, with zero compromise on quality. Richard clearly knows his trade inside and out. From the initial booking to the final certification, the communication, reliability, and honesty were outstanding. Flawless execution throughout—10/10 without hesitation.   An electrician removed and replaced three mains-powered garden wall lights. They were able to complete the job within a few days of posting it. There were good communications throughout, including confirmation of the booking slot and pricing/payment details. And the job was carried out efficiently and to a good standard.

  New kitchen light

  I bought a new kitchen light fitting and just needed it installed. Richard contacted me shortly after my job was posted, and the job was booked in for a few days later. His employee Nixon was friendly, polite, did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. Great company, thank you !

  Fixing overhead light fitting

  The electrician was very careful and methodical and I am pleased with the standard of the job. Communication was not so good, I was promised an estimate of arrival time but this was not provided. It worked out ok but could have been problematic. It's easy enough to send a message once the workman is on his way.

  Awful service. Unprofessional and shockingly unreliable with many mistakes made along the way, some of which were never rectified. I wouldn’t use their services again. ADDITION 20/10/2026 - An update on this job is that Richard Uri Electrical Services came after the original review and rectified the mistakes that were made in previous weeks. They were helpful and the communication the second time round was helpful and prompt. I would give them 8/10 and appreciate their response to my initial complaint. Very happy that this was resolved.
