    Courteous and punctual up to visit and quote

    Visited for a quote we clearly stated via e mail and verbally the job required. Very courteous and prompt and impressive prior to visit. However we became aware that the inspector to give us quote was not aware of the job we required and so we felt it was a disappointment to him in that perhaps he was expected a larger more costly job. I saw the quote briefly over the inspectors shoulder,We never received a quote through e mail or even a response when we asked. When we do have the money we won't be using this company . Poor feedback for customers.

    We are sorry this potential customer wasn't happy with our surveyor , it transpired the lady was asking us to quote for work that we dont do , for example kitchen fitting and tiling , which we don't do , we hope she managed to find a suitable tradesperson. Kind Regards Roof & Loft Services.

    Waste of time

    Arranged appt to get quote from local trader for loft insulation/boarding. Already had quote from elsewhere, want a couple at least to be sure of value for money. He turned up late, said he was led to believe we were willing to commit today. Told him we will when we have comparative and competitive quotes, but will make decision within 48 hours. He said they don't provide estimates/quotes, no sale means he makes no money - "Have you seen that little car out there - it doesn't run on fresh air"!! Obviously only came for the hard sell. Didn't even want to view loft, left in his BMW 5 small car.

    We issues highlighted from homebuyers survey including structural done by this company. Initially all seemed good but quickly became clear that there is no proper communication between Bill (owner/salesman) and Steve the project manager. Also little communication to us, so we relied on subcontractors and had to push for information. They tried to say that they could self-certify structural work on the roof, which council confirmed was not true. Had an uphill battle for them then to submit building notice. Very pushy for payment when job wasn't complete. In all, bad experience, I would avoid.

    We are sorry this customer has submitted a bad review, we have had our work surveyed by a 3rd party structural roofing company who have given it a satisfactory report. Maybe the clients unwillingness to pay their bills on time is the main reason for this. At the end of the works Satisfaction notes were signed by the customer, so we are all saddened by this review. This is such a shame if clients don't pay their bills on time as it has a knock on effect for all our valued customers.

    Partial boarding of loft, light installation and aluminium ladders fitted

    Excellent from start to end. Very friendly staff. Very open and and honest during the original consultation and provided a full breakdown of fee's/costs. Constant communication and fitter was on time and a really nice guy. Completed the job quickly and finished to a really high standard. Very happy with the completed work and overall service. Already recommended to friends. Thanks again.
